Article 19
19.1 The F.I.P.-Board shall
nominate one of its members as Co-ordinator for each of the F.I.P. World or
International Exhibitions.
19.2 The Co-ordinator is
responsible for the drafting and signing of the contract between the
F.I.P.-Board on the one part and the F.I.P.-Member and the Exhibition
Management on the other (Article 3.8).
19.3 The Co-ordinator will
act in an advisory and co-ordinating role during the preparation for the
exhibition and ensure that the GREX and all other F.I.P.-stipulations are
adhered to.
19.4 The Co-ordinator is in
particular responsible for ensuring that
- suitable exhibition rooms
and frames are available,
- the necessary security
measures are taken for the exhibits,
- preparations have been
made for smooth execution of customs formalities,
- the Commissioners perform
their duties with a sense of responsibility and in observance of the applicable
stipulations,
- the work of the jury at
the exhibition is well prepared with regard to technical and organisational
aspects.
19.5 The Co-ordinator may
over-rule the Exhibition Management in decisions relative to the above
questions.
19.6 Any necessary travel
and accommodation expenses as well as other expenses incurred by the
Co-ordinator must be borne in full by the Exhibition Management.
19.7 In the event that the
Co-ordinator is not a member of the jury, he must receive an invitation from
the Exhibition Management for the entire period of the exhibition. His travel
and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the Exhibition Management.
19.8 Name and address of
the Co-ordinator must be mentioned in all publicity brochures and in the
exhibition catalogue, so that he may be reached at all times for questions
arising in connection with the exhibition.
19.9 All correspondence
between Exhibition Management, F.I.P.-Board and F.I.P.-Commissions shall be
routed through the F.I.P.-Co-ordinator.
