Results of the 1999 FIP Philatelic
Web Site Evaluation

There were 66 persons who completed the entry process for evaluation of their sites. The evaluation was completed by a team of eight accredited literature jurors from six countries in Europe and North America under the leadership of Charles J. Peterson, Chairman of the FIP Literature Commission. The sites are listed alphabetically within each award section. Their home country is given along with the URL. Written critiques have been sent to each entrant.

To evaluate the sites, a panel of four teams was appointed:
Team 1: Charles J. Peterson †, USA, and Francis Kiddle, UK.
Team 2: Robert de Violini †, USA, and Charles Verge, Canada.
Team 3: Odd Harald Johannessen, Norway, and Juhani Olamo †, Finland.
Team 4: Zygmunt Kaluza, Poland, and Piotr Zubielik, Poland.

The following URLs are the URLs as they were when the sites were evaluated in 1999 - so there is no guarantee that all the URLs still are active.
